Jean Beauduin is best known for his florals and figurative paintings including beautiful women, often painted in the soft light characteristic of the end of the day. Born in Belgium, he was educated at the Fine Art Academy in Antwerp before moving to Paris and opening a successful studio. He worked as an illustrator for important newspapers, magazines, and publishers, and built a considerable reputation. He exhibited at the Salon des Artistes Français as well as exhibitions in Europe and the US.
