The Mission Indian Reserve, later more commonly known as Eslha7an, contained the St. Paul's Roman Catholic Church, shown here, prior to its 1909 remodelling with the addition of twin spires. The oldest Catholic Church in the Lower Mainland, it is still today a functional heritage building and was designated a National Historic Site in 1980. The scene depicts the North Vancouver waterfront with figures walking. In the background can be seen The Lions, known to the local Indigenous Squamish people as Ch'ích'iyúy

Elx̱wíḵn ("The Twin Sisters").
